Fattoush - Kathy Jano

Lettuce
Tomato
Onion
Parsley
Mint
Zatter (found at Arabic store)
Vinegar
Olive oil
Toasted or fried pita bread
Salt to taste

Frying pita bread:
put a good amount of oil in sauce pan and heat up.  When it is hot put in pieces of pita bread.  Watch carefully and take out just as it's browning slightly.
